When i went to Sony Headquarter to check in my Sony in-ear earphones which developed a rotten rubber insulation, i was told that i could only return the products within 3 to 6 months of purchase. However, i tried to argue that this information is not let known to the public, the person serving me that sony is only offering such a service out of good will, as my product does not come under warranty. This simple 2 words, good will, stopped me in my track. I'm unable to argue further, and my 80bucks investment on the earphone went down the drain.
