Praises
"Congrats to AJC choir for getting gold in this championship."
Said the VP during assembly today.
First off, it is not a championship. It is more like a grading. There are 500 choirs getting gold.
"18 ex-ajcians have landed themselves on the MOE chinese teacher scholarship. This is something we should be proud of."
18 out of 2000++ students is indeed a large number. Not even enough to form a class. And you mean this is the only kind of scholarship AJC can get? The ultimate achievement? =D
I wonder how many in AJCare stupidly taking s-paper so as to "better the chance of getting scholarships". Perhaps they took phy and econ s-paper to better the chance of becoming a chinese teacher? And seriously, do you need a scholarship to become a chinese teacher?
And yet AJCians clapped happily at this announcements and VP Tay bleamed with pride.
